We are delighted to welcome Happy Energy Solutions Ltd as our latest Affiliate Member, bringing further experience from the home energy efficiency and retrofit industry into the property flood resilience conversation.
Happy Energy delivers funded retrofit and energy efficiency programmes, working with local authorities, social housing providers and energy companies to make homes warmer, healthier and more efficient.
Its work includes managing programmes, identifying funding opportunities and supporting the compliant delivery of home improvements, while helping residents understand their options and supporting them throughout their retrofit journey. This brings a useful perspective to IPFRA as the UK considers how resilience can be incorporated into wider efforts to improve the quality, efficiency and long-term suitability of its housing stock.
Adrian Wright, CEO Happy Energy Solutions Ltd said: “We’re delighted to join the IPFRA as we add flood resilience to the energy saving retrofit work we’ve been installing for over 30 years. Extreme weather is becoming the norm in the UK, and climate resilience products and services are now a key part of what our customers need – whether individual property owners or social landlords.”
Graham Brogden MBE, Chair of IPFRA, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Happy Energy to IPFRA. Happy Energy brings valuable experience of working with local authorities, housing providers, energy companies and households. We look forward to the perspective it will bring to the association and our work to make PFR more widely understood and adopted.”
We look forward to working with the Happy Energy team and sharing more about its work with our members.
