I have been in the flood protection industry since 2002, bringing the first Kitemarked products to market in 2003. I have had the privilege of working with key UK stakeholders to help make the case for property flood resilience as an effective approach, developing standards and working with clients to deliver better protection to thousands of properties. It has also been my pleasure to travel around Europe and globally to share the innovative approaches and technologies developed in the UK working with various government bodies, academic institutions and standards bodies. I am delighted to be part of the formation of a trade body to help further develop standards within the industry.
