Darren joined Thornby Associates in April 2025 and is now the main contact for the International Property Flood Resilience Association - I.P.F.R.A. In a varied career Darren first trained as a butcher and worked on Leicester Market before switching to an independent estate agent, where he managed two branches. He next joined the fledgling My Home Move conveyancing company in which he remained for 21 years, progressing from conveyancer to Head of Sales Development in what was by then the UK's largest conveyancing business.
